Forty Days in the Desert
To complete the hero's journey, one must return to the point of origin, completing a full circle, which signifies the beginning of a new journey. A complete circle consists of 360 degrees. In order to draw a complete circle, four cardinal points are required. Marking the first point as the starting point, 0, the pencil must touch the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd points, and then connect to the starting point as the 4th, where the end meets the beginning: 40.
